60 Years Together

A Family Story

Migliore Srl is a family business founded in 1961 by a visionary father and three brothers who, united, still lead the company toward continuous expansion. We have always been attentive to our clients’ needs, without ever forgetting to look toward a constantly evolving market. Every day, we strive to offer the best packaging and wrapping solutions.

October 10, 1961

By renting garages as warehouses, Antonino began going from shop to shop, distributing products with his first car, a gleaming Seicento Multipla. The business took off, and the first 15 years were a true success. Both the range of products and the number of customers grew.
Meanwhile, Antonino’s children grew up and, almost as if it were a game, began helping their father by unloading goods and challenging each other to see who could stack the tallest tower of products in the warehouse.

1972

The year 1972 marked the beginning of a period of crisis for Migliore. The abolition of customs duties and the introduction of VAT resulted in profound inflation, and the entire commercial sector suffered. Bankruptcy was just around the corner, and in the mid-1970s, Migliore, along with the entire family, was on the verge of closing its doors and moving to Australia.

1982

However, Antonino, a visionary man, did not give up and saw a new opportunity for rebirth in the service sector. In the late 1970s, he converted the product range and dedicated himself to the trade of packaging and customer services. Migliore restarted at full speed, thanks also to the support of his three teenage sons. The help of Giovanni, Angelo, and Luca proved indispensable, especially when, suddenly, Antonino fell ill that year and had to stay in the hospital for months.
At that moment, the three brothers took over the reins of Migliore Srl and, with the help of their mother, carried forward the ambitious project.

1988

In 1988, Antonino and his sons invested in the construction of the first company-owned warehouse, measuring 600 sqm, to be used as storage. Thus, in the 1990s, the company began to expand beyond the municipality of Modica and toward the mountain and seaside towns of the Ragusa province.

2011

Subsequent expansions and evolutions led the company, twenty years later, to significant growth, and the space of the first warehouse was no longer sufficient. Thus began the construction of the current headquarters of Migliore Srl, on Via Calanchi in Frigintini, which today spans an area of 7,200 sqm.

Today, Migliore Srl is one of the most solid companies for distribution and services in the provinces of Ragusa and Siracusa. For over sixty years, we have dedicated ourselves to our customers with care, just as Antonino did with his children. Passion, dedication, and transparency are the values the father passed on to his three sons and which today drive the success of our company.

2016

The company decided to further expand its range of services by creating a new department dedicated to screen printing and graphics.

Thus, Publi10 was born: the print division of Migliore Srl, which today represents the added value of the company, giving customers the ability to customize any product and support: from packaging to clothing, from gadgets to promotional materials, from shop windows to vehicles. The graphic team uses an extensive range of advanced machinery, thanks to which it is possible to apply various customization techniques (digital printing, laser, pad printing, screen printing, embroidery).

2021

Riding the wave of a period of crisis across Europe, the company decided to take on a new challenge by expanding its core business, leveraging its extensive experience as a commercial enterprise in the sector.

A new department dedicated to packaging production was established, with the acquisition of multiple machines for the production of biodegradable and compostable shoppers, food wrapping paper, paper bags, vacuum pouches, cardboard boxes, and packaging materials.
